This Crab Orchard Flagstone is the most popular stone for patios and walkways because of its relatively consistent thickness and relatively smooth surface. Standard Crab Orchard is also popular in wet areas, such as pool and hot tub decks, because of its gritty, "non-slip" texture. Because of the relative thickness of this material, the stone must be set in a bed of granite sand or mortared to an existing concrete surface to keep the stone from cracking.Size: typically 1" to 2" thick.
